After several cloudy, wet days, high pressure will nose into the region with a beautiful sunny Friday.  A cold front will slowly approach Connecticut with a band of moderate to heavy rain, wind and thunder Saturday afternoon and evening.  Sunshine and cooler temperatures return to Southern New England Sunday with a slight moderation of temperatures by early next week.
