Man In ‘Puffy’ Black Vest Robs Norwich Convenience Store: Police

A man walked into the Xtra- mart on West Main Street in Norwich and demanded an employee give him all the money early Friday morning, Police said.

The suspect fled the scene on a red and sliver mountain bike with an unspecified amount of money, police said.

It happened around 1 a.m. Friday and no injuries were reported.

Police describe the suspect as a black male, 5’8”-6’ tall, thin build, wearing black pants and a black hooded sweatshirt, with white drawstrings, under a black “puffy” vest. The suspect had a white colored cloth or bandana with a grey design covering most of his face and was wearing black gloves with a unique white design covering the palm and finger areas, police said.
