Watertown Police are investigating an armed robbery at the Shell Gas Station on the Straits Turnpike that occurred Thursday night.
Officers say there store was held up at gunpoint around 10:20 p.m.
The suspect demanded cash and ran away. He’s described as a light skin black male in his late twenties or early thirties.
The suspect drove a newer model dark four door hatchback vehicle, possibly an Audi.

Police in Naugatuck are investigating an armed robbery in their town that could be connected the case in Watertown.
They say the Subway restaurant on New Haven Road was robbed around 6:20 Thursday night. They believe the suspect they are looking for is Kevin Savage, 25.
He’s accused of pressing his gun into an employees side and taking their cellphone and money out of the cash register, according to police.
The suspect was described as black or Hispanic, about 6 feet tall. He was seen fleeing in a black Audi hatchback.
Police plan to issue more information as soon as they have it or can confirm if the cases are in fact connected.
