Cheshire and Carrington Roads on the Bethany/Prospect Town line are closed off after a vehicle hit a utility pole Wednesday morning. Weather is believed to be a factor. State Police say the female driver hit the pole, suffered minor injuries and was taken to Yale New Haven Hospital where she is expected to be OK.
Drivers in the area are being directed to a different route.
CL&P is one scene de-energizing the line.
It’s unknown how much longer the intersection will be closed.
