Chick-Fil-A opened Thursday morning to excited crowds, many of whom had waited for 24 hours.
People streamed into the store at 6 a.m., but the story started much earlier than that.
Dozens of people showed up at 5 a.m. Wednesday to camp out for the opening of the Brookfield Chick-Fil-A restaurant.
The company is gives out free food for a year for the first 100 people in line when it opens.
It's the first of the popular chicken franchises in the state. Three more franchise locations will open in Enfield, Danbury, and Wallingford within the year.
