Katy Perry will perform at the Super Bowl XLIX halftime show according to numerous media reports. Perry had been rumored to be the choice act as early as August.
Katy Perry, Rihanna, and Coldplay were all rumored back when the NFL made headlines for its new ‘Pay to Play’ policy. The NFL reportedly asked some halftime show candidates if they would be willing to pay the league in exchange for the chance to perform on the national stage.
Super Bowl XLIX will be played Feb. 1, in Glendale, Arizona.
