GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT THE SATURDAY, OCTOBER 18TH PARADE:

  • Parade begins at 2:00 p.m. and completes the route at approximately 2:45 p.m.
  • Parade steps off at the corner of High Street and Asylum Street, moves east on Asylum, south on Ann Uccello, east on Pearl, north on Trumbull, west on Church, south on Ann Uccello, makes a final turn moving west onto Asylum and ends with a block party in front of Black-eyed Sally’s. The parade will use rolling street closures to minimize the impact on residents and businesses.

 

FUN FACTS:

  • Anyone can march in the parade - you just need to register, and come in a costume of any kind
  • We purchase $1,000 worth of Halloween candy and 2,880 strands of Mardi-Gras beads that are thrown to the crowds during the parade
  • The Coneheads of Cone Street in Hartford have marched in every single Hooker Day Parade since the early 90s
