The Milford Fire Department is investigating a fire that destroyed a home Monday afternoon on Underhill Road.
Several people called 911 to report the fire around 2:15 p.m.
As crews battled the blaze, additional firefighters were assigned to prevent the flames from jumping to a nearby home. No one was hurt but the house is a total loss.
No word yet on what caused the blaze.
