Police said shortly before 9 p.m. a man entered Chucky’s Convenience Store, 1563 West Main St. and demanded money. He implied he had a weapon, but none was shown.
Police describe the man as Caucasian, approximately 5”9” tall, and was wearing blue jeans, a dark mask and a black hoodie.
It was the second similar robbery of the weekend. Sun Market, a convenience store on Main Street in Willimantic, was robbed Saturday night, police said.
The suspect fled on foot. No one was injured.
