Abraham (Neil Jackson), the Headless Horseman of Death, is of a particularly stoic type, and maintains a deep dislike for our protagonist, Ichabod Crane (Tom Mison), after Crane stole his woman, Katrina (Katia Winter) and, in essence, sentenced him to his headless life.

Variety spoke with Jackson ahead of this Monday’s episode, and the British actor previewed that “Weeping Lady” will give viewers a glimpse of Abraham’s “genuine affections” for Katrina for the first time. “It’s no longer just the evil machinations of the Headless Horseman, we’ve actually got a guy who genuinely cares and loves and is fragile,” he admitted.

Katrina is forced to stay with Abraham, but reveals herself to be cunning and manipulative in her own right, although fans may fear what might happen to her relationship with Ichabod should she remain in Abraham’s clutches for too long.

After all, he’s a darn good beat boxer… even without a head.
