FRESNO CA – A man is being hailed a hero after rushing into a burning home to rescue a stranger.
Cell phone video captured by a witness showed what happened.
As the house became engulfed in flames, a woman because frantically screaming that her father was still inside the house.
That's when a man rushed into the home and emerged a short time later carrying the elderly man over his shoulder.
The victim was taken to the hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation, but has since been released.
