Crews were working to fix a broken gas line in North Branford Friday morning.
Fire dispatchers confirmed a two-inch gas line was hit by an excavator at 2 Enterprise drive outside of Camputaro and Sons Excavating near the intersection of Enterprise Drive and Branford Road.
Southern Connecticut Gas Company and North Branford fire and police departments were on scene. There were no injuries.
The repairs were completed early Friday afternoon.
