New Haven man charged with sexually assaulting North Haven teen
NORTH HAVEN – Police in North Haven have charged Christopher Jenkins, 27, with sexual assault after they say he assaulted a 14-year-old girl several times.
Jenkins was employed by his family friend to do yard work and small jobs around their home in North Haven, police said in a statement Friday afternoon.
Jenkins was alone with the teen in the home on multiple occasions. He’s accused of inappropriately touching her and forcing her to perform sex acts with him.
Police arrested Jenkins inside his New Haven home on Friday, Oct. 24.
He’s charged with Sexual Assault First Degree, two counts of Sexual Assault Second Degree, Sexual Assault Third Degree, Sexual Assault Forth Degree, and Risk of Injury to a Minor. He is being held on a $250,000 bond and is due in court on Monday.
