TRENTON, N.J. (AP) — The New Jersey Department of Health says a woman who arrived at Newark Liberty International Airport from West Africa and was the first traveler to be quarantined under an Ebola watch has developed a fever.

She is in isolation and is being evaluated at a hospital in Newark.

The governors of New York and New Jersey on Friday announced a mandatory 21-day quarantine of medical workers and other airline passengers who have had contact with Ebola victims.

The woman is a health care worker who arrived on Friday from West Africa, where she had been treating Ebola patients. Authorities say she had no symptoms upon arrival.

The quarantine order came after a doctor who returned to New York City a week ago tested positive for Ebola.
