The Travelers Championship is donating a large sum to charity.

The organization announced Monday that the 2014 tournament raised $1.558 million, which will be donated to more than 140 charities.

This is the greatest amount of money raising since Travelers became the tournament’s sponsor eight years ago. All net funds raised are donated.

Health and wellness organizations received 54 percent of the funds, while education and youth development got 19 percent and family and social services got 10 percent. Military organizations, arts and culture organizations and animal welfare split up the rest of the funds.
