(CNN) — Government agencies in Maine are in the process of filing a court order to require Kaci Hickox–a nurse now in the state after recently treating Ebola patients in West Africa–to be quarantined, a Maine official said Wednesday. Hickox and her lawyers said earlier in the day that she would not obey officials’ instructions to seclude herself at home.
Gov. Paul LePage said in a written statement that Hickox “has been unwilling to follow the protocols set forth by the Maine CDC and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control for medical workers who have been in contact with Ebola patients.”
