MANCHESTER--There may still be three weeks until Thanksgiving, but it's time to start celebrating the Manchester Road Race a bit early!

Today there was a ceremonial run down Main Street in honor of a new exhibit, "Thanksgiving in Manchester: A History of the Manchester Road Race." The exhibit, which is free, is being held at Manchester Community College's Arts and Education Center.

Jim Balcome, the director of the Manchester Road Race, said, "In one or two years from now we hope to re-do this and in the meantime collect more artifacts. So folks who are listening, if you have something that's unique to the Manchester Road Race and you think is important and you're willing to donate it to us, we want it! "

You can visit the exhibit now through Nov. 29 on Tuesdays through Saturdays, and tune in for coverage of the Manchester Road Race on Thanksgiving morning right here on Fox CT!
