MYSTIC--The Mystic Aquarium is letting lots of animals reenter the wild lately.
On Wednesday the aquarium released a young harbor seal pup after nursing it back to life. The pup, named Penelope was rescued in Maine after being abandoned at just a few days old and just 21 pounds, and since then she's grown to about 40 pounds.
The seal was released at Blue Shutters Beach in Charlestown, Rhode Island.
The aquarium also released Chance, a loggerhead sea turtle, back into the ocean today off the coast of North Carolina.
