In a battle between two teams with a 6-2 record fighting for playoff eligibility, the Glastonbury Tomahawks came out on top, defeating the New Britain Hurricanes 30-6. The team was lead by junior quarterback Keyion Dixon, who ran for 180 yards throw for a touchdown and even got a pick six.
