WEST HARTFORD--The small stage at Hall High School in West Hartford has led to big things for Connor McCabe.

McCabe, a 2007 grad of Hall, will appear on Fox's supernatural drama "Sleepy Hollow" on Monday night. The 25-year-old actor finished school at New York University and headed to Hollywood three years ago, but in the last six months TV roles have been rolling in. "I've just booked three network gigs TV-wise in the past six months which is really awesome," McCabe said during a Skype interview from Los Angeles.

On Sleepy Hollow, McCabe plays, as he puts it, "a nerdy kind of guy in a nightclub situation."

McCabe recently appeared on the ABC sitcom "The Middle" and will soon show up in an upcoming episode of "Glee."

Sean Harris, the director of theater arts at Hall High, said, "He's got a great look and he's young and he can play a wide variety of ages from 15 to, maybe 25."

McCabe, who credits the theater staff at Hall for part of his success, added "It's been pretty cool to say I am an actor, that is what I do and I feel grateful."
