MONROE — A teacher at Masuk High School has been placed on paid administrative leave following allegations of inappropriate behavior.
In a letter to parents and staff, Monroe Superintendent Jim Agostine writes that on Tuesday, November 11, a student alerted a school resource officer about an incident with a teacher. No specifics about that incident have been released.
Monroe police and the State Department of Children and Families have been contacted.
“This is an unfortunate situation and I want you to be reassured that we addressed it immediately and we will continue to work closely with the proper authorities to resolve this issue,” Agostine wrote.
