WESTPORT — Police are investigating a suspicious death that occurred just after 9:00 a.m. Saturday morning.
According to police, a jogger discovered an unresponsive man lying on the shoulder of Patrick Road. The man was wearing a white tank top, blue jeans and brown shoes.
The jogger flagged down a passing driver, who called police.
Both the jogger and driver attempted CPR. The man was taken to Norwalk Hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly before 10 a.m.
Investigators say they are attempting to locate a brown colored FUBU hooded sweat jacket and black skull type winter hat that Harrell was reportedly wearing around 11 pm on Friday. Police say these items were not found on the mans body.
Officials said there were no visible signs of trauma.
Authorities have identified the man as Sandokan Kayan Harrell, 39, of Bridgeport.
Westport Police ask anyone who may have seen anything suspicious or unusual around 47 Patrick Road or anyone who had contact with this individual in the last 24 hours is asked to call the department at (203)-341-6000.
