UNCASVILLE–The Mohegan Tribal Police Department, which has jurisdiction at Mohegan Sun, has identified two individuals involved in a robbery.

On Nov. 14 at around 10 p.m. the two men stole $7,000 in chips from a man at a roulette table, punched the victim, and then fled the scene.

With the help of surveillance video both suspects were identified within 48 hours of the incident, and on Nov. 17 the police obtained arrest warrants and search and seizure warrants for the getaway vehicle.

One suspect, Niren J. Davis, 33, of Norwich, was arrested on Nov. 18 at the courthouse in Danielson, where he was appearing for another incident. Davis, who is also known as King, was charged with accessory to commit robbery in the third degree and accessory to commit larceny in the third degree. Police also seized his 2006 red Nissan Maxima. He is being held on a $25,000 bond and is due in court on Nov. 19.

Police are still trying to find the second suspect, Jorge Morales, 28, who is also known as Papo. If you have any information on his whereabouts please call the Mohegan Tribal Police at 860-862-7460.
