Tuesday Forecast: Temperatures falling all day

The morning will be the warmest part of the day, with colder weather quickly moving in. By this afternoon, we'll be right around the freezing mark with a strong breeze. The cold is certainly not exclusive to Connecticut, with temperatures across the nation at near-record lows.

We'll have sunny skies for the next few days, but it'll be tough to shake the cold. Highs tomorrow top out in the 30s, and then there will be a brief and short-lived warm up to around 40 on Thursday.

Thursday: Mostly sunny, not as cold as recent days. High: Around 40 degrees.

Friday: Mostly sunny, chilly. Highs: 30s.

Saturday: Partly cloudy, cool. High: around 40.
