Cher Performs On NBC’s “Today”

HARTFORD–Cher has announced that she is cancelling the rest of her Dressed to Kill concert tour after coming down with an infection that affected the function of her kidneys.

The tour began in March, and before cancelling the tour Cher made 49 stops, all of which were sold out. She took a scheduled break in July, but got sick before returning to the road in September.

“I am totally devastated,” Cher said. “Nothing like this has ever happened to me.  I cannot apologize enough to all the fans who bought tickets.  I’m so proud of this show. It is my best ever. I sincerely hope that we can come back again next year and finish what we started.”

Cher was scheduled to play the XL Center in Hartford on Saturday, Dec. 13. If you bought tickets online, by phone or at the the box office using a credit card you will be automatically refunded. If you paid in cash, visit the XL Center Box Office Monday through Friday from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
