MANCHESTER-- When "Family Guy" patriarch Peter Griffin needed a Thanksgiving turkey he hit the road and headed to the Highland Park Market. The market, located in Manchester, has been immortalized in animation.

"It was awesome, it was so much fun," said Tim Devanney, the president of the Highland Park Market. The market made a cameo in Sunday night's episode of Family Guy, when Peter and dog Brian made a desperate last minute search for a holiday bird.

How did the Highland Park Market make it on "Family Guy?" Tim Devanney's brother, Tom, happens to be a writer and a co-executive producer of the popular sitcom.

Molly Devanney, Tim's daughter and also a manager at the market, said of the appearance, "We have been talking about it for months and then to see it, its unreal."

The market staff sent pictures to the "Family Guy" animation team earlier this year and say they were very happy with how the episode came out. "We're in the papers, on the radio, and on TV," Tim noted. "It's exciting, it really is!"
