WEST HAVEN — Police in West Haven are sending out a warning about recent church burglaries.
Police say in recent weeks three churches have been the target of burglars.
The churches are, Christ Christian Church on Fenwick Street; Vertical Church on Meloy Road; and the Promise Land Church on Burwell Road.
The burglars are coming away with small items and petty cash, according to police.
They ask residents who live in those areas to pay careful attention to any suspicious activity.
