OLD SAYBROOK – Firefighters responded to a boat fire at the Island Cove Marina Tuesday morning.
A call came in at 10:35 a.m. for a fire in a 38 foot boot at the marina located at 47 Sunrise Ave. The boat was on land and shrink wrapped for winter storage. The fire marshal determined the cause was accidental.
No injuries were reported.
