Albertus Magnus College lockdown lifted, classes still cancelled
NEW HAVEN – Albertus Magnus College posted a message on their website Tuesday afternoon stating they are in precautionary lock down.
The message says: As recommended by the New Haven Police Department the Campus is in lock down. This is a precautionary measure. Classes for this afternoon and evening are cancelled. You will be notified when the lock down is lifted.
Police say the school was placed on lockdown because someone threatened a staff member.
