Bomb threat at pizzeria in Rocky Hill, police investigating

ROCKY HILL- Police are investigating after a  bomb threat was called in at the West Side Pizza Restaurant on Friday evening.

Police responded to 945 Cromwell Avenue on the report of a bomb threat received by a staff member at the restaurant. According to police, a call was placed to the West Side Pizza Restaurant at 5:30 p.m by a female caller.

Authorities say the caller indicated that a bomb was placed inside the restaurant by her son who was dissatisfied with his food.

Police evacuated surrounding businesses as a precaution as officers searched the restaurant but didn’t find any suspicious items.

The restaurant and surrounding businesses were given the “all clear” after twenty five minutes.
