NEW HAVEN – Wilbur Cross High was evacuated Monday afternoon just before 2 p.m. due to bomb threat.
New Haven police were on the scene at 181 Mitchell Dr.
A phone message was sent to parents alerting them of the threat, but details of the threat and how it was received are not being released as the investigation continues.
Emergency Services Units were sent to the school to search, but nothing suspicious was found.
Students were let back into the school after it was cleared to get their belongings, and then were dismissed since it was the end of the day.
No suspects have been identified yet.
