Three years ago, Colleen Alexander survived a serious accident. She was run over by a truck and needed dozens of units of blood and platelets. She was resuscitated many times.
Every two minutes someone in this country needs blood. Now, the triathlete is giving back and helping raise awareness about the need for blood.
If you would like to attend the blood drive, it will be held at 8 Inspiration Lane in Chester on Wednesday December 31 from 9 a.m. to 1:45 p.m.
