NORWALK - Police have made an arrest in the death of a cab driver killed earlier in the week.
Ramiro Arcos Garcia, 32, of Elizabeth, New Jersey was arrested over night and charged with murder. He appeared in court Friday morning, and the case was continued until Dec. 30. He is being held in $2.5 million bond.
Police responded to the scene and found the victim, had been stabbed several times and crashed his cab into a parked vehicle.
The victim was treated by EMS and was transported to Norwalk Hospital where he later died.
Pierre-Louis was driving a dark colored minivan style cab for Norwalk Yellow Cab Inc.
Police are planning to hold a press conference to release more details at 10 a.m.
