VERNON- Police have arrested a woman in connection to a multi-vehicle accident on Saturday evening.
Authorities have arrested Michele Dankowski, 57, of Vernon. She has been charged with second degree assault with a motor vehicle, operating a motor vehicle under the influence, weapons in a motor vehicle, and failure to make a proper left turn.
This comes after a two car accident at the intersection of the Hartford Turnpike and Bolton Road.
Police say the crash was reported around 5:45 p.m on Saturday evening. The intersection was closed for several hours while police investigated but reopened the road around 7:50 p.m.
Police say two people were transported by ambulance to Hartford Hospital. Authorities couldn’t comment as to the extent of their injuries.
Dankowski has been released on a $10,000 Surety bond.
