NEW BRITAIN — As the deadline approaches, cyclists hit the road to spread the word for health insurance enrollment on Saturday.
The Connecticut Cycling Advancement Program Pro-am team started their 80-mile journey at the Access Health CT Enrollment Center in New Britain. They will travel to five enrollment centers around the state.
The tour, sponsored by HealthyCT, is designed to bring attention to the upcoming enrollment deadline on Monday, December 15th.
“Although open enrollment continues through February 15th, there are thousands of Connecticut residents who don’t realize that Monday is the deadline to enroll to have health insurance on January 1st,” said HealthyCT CEO Ken Lalime.
