ELLINGTON- State police are investigating after a vehicle hit a utility pole on Route 83 on Saturday afternoon.
Police say the crash happened around 2:38 p.m at 171 West Road, known as Route 83, in Ellington. The road was shut down for less than an hour in both directions.
Connecticut Light & Power crews were notified and are on scene to repair the utility pole.
According to police, no one was injured and the cause of the crash is under investigation.
