WEST HARTFORD–A woman crashed into a utility pole in West Hartford on Tuesday afternoon.
At 1:55 p.m. the woman was driving east on New Britain Avenue in West Hartford when she lost control of her Nissan Sentra. She says the accident happened so fast that she didn’t have time to hit the brakes.
She was taken to the hospital for evaluation and her car was towed. She has not been ticketed, but the police are investigating.
CL&P responded to the scene to evaluate the utility pole, which was damaged but is still standing.
