Temperatures are starting out very cold with temperatures in the single digits and teens early this morning.  Clouds are already rolling in ahead of a weak Alberta Clipper that will brush our region with a band of light snow today.  This system does not have a lot of moisture or energy to work with; therefore, not expecting much snow with this system, maybe a dusting to an inch at most, by this evening.  Weak high pressure will dominate our weather Wednesday with sunshine, however a stronger more potent cold front will move into the region late Wednesday with a band of snow showers/flurries that will usher in the brutally cold frigid Arctic Air mass for Thursday.  Temperatures by Thursday morning will range from -5 to +5 degrees with highs struggling to reach the teens.    The brutally cold air will moderate somewhat by this weekend with highs in the 20’s to near, lows in the single digits and teens.
