HARTFORD-Police are investigating a late night double shooting in the area of Laurel Street.
Police were called to the area of 240 Laurel Street shortly after 10 p.m. Tuesday night.
Police found a female with a gunshot wound to her leg. She was transported to St. Francis Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
Further investigations led police to finding a male on Imlay Street with several gunshot wounds to his chest. He was transported to Hartford Hospital and is in critical condition.
The shooting is being investigated by the Major Crimes Unit.
