NEW LONDON- Police are investigating after a pizza delivery driver was robbed on Saturday night.
Police responded to the area of 159 Hawthorne Drive after officers received a 911 call from Empire Pizza reporting that a delivery driver was robbed.
According to police, the victim said he was robbed near his vehicle after he made a delivery and reported hearing a male voice and felt what he believed to be a gun.
Authorities say the suspect fled the scene on foot with an undetermined amount of money.
