NORFOLK–A flight that was due to arrive at Bradley International Airport was diverted due to smoke in the cabin.
The JetBlue flight left Tampa International Airport 18 minutes late at 2:23 p.m. It was due to arrive in Hartford at 4:42 p.m., but was diverted and landed safely at Norfolk International Airport in Virginia at 4:36 p.m.
According to WTKR in Norfolk, the director of the airport said there were about 93 passengers aboard and the plane was about 100 miles away when it reported fumes in the cockpit.
The plane was checked for any unusual hotspots and heat. No injuries were reported.
