After a very cold start today, we won’t warm up to anything resembling a mild temperature. Highs across the state will top out only in the teens under sunny skies. So Bundle-Up!

On Sunday, clouds will really roll in out ahead of a storm. As you probably know, it’ll be Super Bowl Sunday, so all eyes are on the forecast. It looks like light snow showers could move in during the game, possibly making a few roads slick.

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch for all of Connecticut for this storm, as they see the potential for 6+ inches of snow.

Snow will continue into the morning rush hour on Monday, causing deteriorating road conditions. The heaviest likely comes through during the morning rush on Monday. At this point, it looks likely that most of the state will get 6-12 inches of snow when all is said and done on Monday afternoon into evening. We then stay cold for the middle of the week.

Forecast Details:

Saturday: Sunny, breezy and cold. High: teens and lower 20s.

Tonight: Clear to partly cloudy, lighter wind. Lows: 0-12.

Sunday: Increasing clouds. High: 20’s.

Monday: Heavy snow, especially during the morning. High: teens to near 20.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny, very cold. High: Teens.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny, high: 20’s.
