LOUISA COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) — A man was shot and robbed when he stopped to help a family he believed was having car trouble in Louisa County, according to Louisa Sheriff’s Office Major Don Lowe. The Good Samaritan’s condition has not been released.
The Good Samaritan stopped to check on a man, woman and infant he saw in a car along the side of Chalk Level Road, Lowe said. That is when the man robbed the Good Samaritan. A fight between the man and Good Samaritan ensued and the Good Samaritan was shot twice.
The Good Samaritan told investigators he believed he broke the gunman’s arm during the fight.
