HARTFORD — A US Navy photographer got quite the shot on Tuesday, when a rainbow appeared over an aircraft carrier in the Pacific Ocean.
Photographer Ignacio Perez photographed the 115,000 ton, 1,100-foot-long USS John C. Stennis. The rainbow appeared at the end of a 5K run on the ship.

“I honestly don’t like to rank my photos because I think every image is important, but it is definitely unique,” said Perez.
