WEST HARTFORD – A couple who had their children in the car were arrested on drug charges, according to police.

Police said Amie Willis and Ryan Big-Mountain were arrested after being pulled over and both found to be in possession of heroin.

“Ryan Big-Mountain had his sleeve rolled up, fresh track mark that was bleeding along with empty Heroin bags in his hand when he was asked to exit the vehicle,” police said in a release. Police said Willis was found to have two bags of heroin in her purse.

Two children, who are both under the age of six, were in the back seat of the vehicle at the time of the arrest.
