East Windsor Middle School dismisses early due to bomb threat

EAST WINDSOR – Middle school students were bused to the high school in East Windsor Thursday morning. Around 7:18 a.m. police and the board of education were notified of a possible bomb threat at East Windsor Middle School. Officers responded to investigate.

The move to the high school was part of the town’s “safety and security protocol.”

No one was injured and all students and staff are safe and accounted for.  The Middle School closed early at 10:45 a.m. and all students were released from the High School.

Police say the incident, as well as, recent similar incidents at the East Windsor Middle School remain under active investigation by the East Windsor Board of Education and the East Windsor Police Department.
