CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - Sissy, a miniature schnauzer from Iowa has proved that nothing, not even distance, can break the bond between people and their pets.
The dog's owner Nancy was getting treatment at Mercy Hospital, when one day Sissy walked through the automatic front doors.
Security guards checked the dog's tags and realized she had traveled 16 blocks from her home to the hospital.
The family has no idea how the pup knew where to go. They say they had never taken Sissy to the hospital before.
