The temperatures started falling Thursday night, and they aren't stopping. But that's not even the main weather story for the weekend.

We've got an updated list of watches in effect for the state on Saturday and Sunday: a winter weather advisory is up for Fairfield County, while there's a winter storm watch for New Haven, Hartford, and Tolland counties; lastly, there is a winter storm warning posted for for Middlesex, New London, and Windham counties.

So when will it all begin? Well, the flakes will begin falling Saturday afternoon, with the bulk of it coming down Saturday night. Be careful if you've got plans for Valentine's Day.

Besides the current frigid air out there, winds will continue to pick up behind storm.
