EDMOND, Okla. — At Edmond Memorial High School, there will be no lonely hearts this Valentine's Day, thanks to student Dan Williams.
KFOR reports that on Friday, Feb. 13, all 1076 female students at the high school were surprised with candy and cards from an anonymous person.
“All the girls were surprised this morning,” Laura Pitcock said.
Williams, who worked all summer to save for his Valentine's Day surprise, had hoped to remain anonymous, but secrets are hard to keep, especially in high school.
“To know that someone cares about them, that’s the best feeling in the world I think,” Williams said, once the Bulldog student body discovered him as the secret Romeo.
