WEST HAVEN–In his fight to help veterans, Sen. Richard Blumenthal showed up at the National Center for PTSD to get a first-hand look at the new, ground-breaking research facility.
Blumenthal successfully helped pass a bill earlier in February to combat veteran suicide, but he says more work and research are needed to come closer to curing the illness.
The National Center for PTSD works with the VA and Yale University.
